pajamas

Our whole family has been sick since last week. Well, it staggered. About every two days. First, James got sick. Then Ruby. Then Floyd, then finally me. I suppose it happens that way so I can take care of everyone else and then get sick. Sounds like a good theory.

So, we have been spending lots of time in our pjs. And watching lots of Clifford and Curious George.

Here is my funny girl being cute in her rubbermaid container.

I mentioned also that my mom sewed the kids McD's pjs. Which of course are a huge hit. So I put them together in the chair in their pjs and came up with these.

Ruby really looks like a little clown in hers ;) - I was unable to get a full length body shot of her. If she doesn't want her picture taken, or if becomes a game, all I get is a blur.

I am still quite sick. I'm feeling like it's moved to my ears. It would be the second time in my whole life I have ear infections. The first time I had an ear infection I was an adult, a few years ago. And it reeeeeaaaalllllllly hurt.

I have to get better soon. I have a huge list of things to do BEFORE leaving for Alaska on Tuesday, including: making the decorations for Ruby's birthday cupcakes out of fondant, send out the invites to the party (should be here today), getting the kiddie four wheeler ready to sell, gathering all of the things that need to be packed for Alaska and actually fitting them into two bags as well (as as little camera equipment I can get away with for photographing a newborn), CLEAN because I haven't cleaned in days... ok my head is hurting from thinking of all the things I've got to do. Oh! Get the taxes done! - I'm trying to divert that to my dear husband by telling him he's SO much better at it than I am. Whew...and we might color easter eggs somewhere in there.

Whew, I think I need a nap.

  1. You are super mom. Take care of yourself though. A plane ride with an ear infection and a 2 year old doesn't sound fun.

Prioritize and figure out what is most important. Cleaning would be last on my list. ;-)

    Feel better, sweetie.
