it's a hallmark/dollar store/target holiday

We can always count on Grandma to send a package full of, ahem, goodies, for every holiday. Princesses get "glass slippers" to tap dance in for Valentine's day. I'm sure my hardwoods are loving it.

And Prince Charming got a Rubik's cube ball - he got frustrated with it right away. But he's come back to it a couple of times to see if he can get it worked out.

And alas, he's discovered girls. Or at least started thinking about them. Last night he said, kind of out of the blue "There are a lot of mysteries in girls I wish I knew." I was surprised to hear that he'd been contemplating girls, period. "Like what?" ---

"Well, like they're always in clumps of three or four and always giggling and snickering. And have you seen that commercial for jewelry where the girl puts her leg up when they hug? Why do girls do that?"

Hoo boy.
