organizing fool

Oh so much has gone on in my house in the last couple of weeks. Changes. For the better. Wow. Not only purging but organizing. Now I know some people are usually organized and some may even have their houses in order. That is seldom me. But slowly, I'm actually combing through areas in my house that are screaming at me to do something about them and wow what a difference! This is the most recent spot... but there are countless areas that have been upturned and made so much better. I love walking into Ruby's room right now. I love walking into any room that feels so calm and clean...

The letters were an afterthought, I was covering the ugly pressboard bookcase end with some colorful paper and thought - hey I have these things floating around... so why not put them up. She is tickled that they're there.

I'm feeling much more ready for the baby to come. Like, today if he wanted to. Over the weekend I had some crazy contractions but I knew better than to get all excited because that's what Ruby did to me too. Today they're there, constant, but much more mild.

I also have all the appliques done for mom to work on the baby quilt. That is also exciting because it brings me to wonder - hmmm what color should I do those walls? :)

I get to see James' quilt tomorrow - he doesn't get it til the weekend when we celebrate his birthday, but I MAY throw it on his bed and take a few pics. I am soooooo excited, my mom said people are offering to buy it and want to order them it's so cool... she said she laughs because it was "sort of" a time consuming quilt.

All in all, I'm just excited. I feel good. And it's even Monday :)
